24 HOUR MONITORING


Security ONE is a ULC listed alarm company which means we meet the criteria of the insurance industry. We offer alarm monitoring 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our ULC listed monitoring station has been operating locally from Leamington, Ontario since 1978 and has more than 30 years of monitoring experience. Often our competitors' monitoring stations operate out of province or even out of country. Our staff are trained to follow specific local police departments' procedures when notifying them of an alarm - providing quick notification when every second counts.

Security ONE uses active instead of passive monitoring. Alarm companies usually use "passive" monitoring which means the Monitoring Station only communicates with your alarm when there is an emergency. If the alarm is not working, the Monitoring Station is not aware of it and may not notify emergency officials when your alarm goes off. Security ONE's active monitoring means your alarm panel sends a daily test signal to our Monitoring Station to ensure your alarm is functioning properly.

Without monitoring, you depend on your neighbours or passer-bys to inform police or fire officials if an emergency situation occurs. What if no one is around when your alarm sounds?
